Let’s talk about planning… but not that kind

When we hear the word planning, some of us instinctively tense up. Let's face it, making a formal plan doesn't usually involve much in the way of fun!
We think about meal plans stuck to the fridge.
School pick-ups, deadlines, calendars packed edge-to-edge.
To-do lists that seem to grow faster than we can tick them off.
That kind of planning has its place but we want to encourage you to think of the kind that nourishes us. Something different. Something for you.
Planning for weekends you actually look forward to.
Planning for moments with friends, family… or simply quiet time on your own.
Planning for the things that bring a spark of excitement back into everyday life (and remind you that you’re more than your responsibilities.)
So often, our lives become a series of obligations. We move from one task to the next on autopilot, promising ourselves that one day we’ll rest, reconnect, or do something just because it makes us feel good. But that one day rarely comes.
That’s where intentional, gentle planning comes in.
Not planning driven by pressure or productivity, but planning rooted in reflection and self-awareness. The kind that asks:
What do I actually need right now?
What am I craving more of this year?
What would make my weeks feel lighter, calmer, or more fulfilling?
At our workshops, we create space to explore the possibility of something else for you - something you deserve.
At our January workshop in particular, we'll be using journalling as a tool to reflect on what may have been draining our energy in 2025. From there, we’ll begin to plan, but without rigid expectations.
Journalling in this way isn’t about creating another list to keep up with. It’s about giving yourself direction without demands. It’s about making space for joy, rest, connection and small moments that matter - and then gently protecting that space.
If January is feeling a little flat, heavy, or uninspiring, this is your invitation to shift that energy. Not by doing more, but by tuning back into yourself. After all, you deserve plans that include you too.
There are still a couple of places left at our January workshop on Tuesday 20th and if you'd like to join us, you can book here - we'd love to see you there.
